Q Topic 2: Basic Research Process: Primary and Secondary Sources There are three parts required of your response here: 1. Secondary Sources: Briefly describe how you began your search for information about your topic from secondary sources, which keywords you used for which databases, and how you may have revised your search strategies. So in Topic 1, you are listing keywords, but here in Topic 2 you are reporting on results of your initial searching. Did you learn anything about searching or about specific sources for your project? 2. Primary Sources: Additionally, write about how you may gather information from primary sources. Are you hoping to hold any interviews? Are you looking for an expert in a particular field? We may be able to provide you with sources when you make these needs clear. What sort of information will a primary source provide for you? How will it be useful for your project? 3. From your initial searching, list one or two sources here (in APA style) that you think will be useful to your project. (For help with the APA style rules, see the handouts under Content > Course Resources > Writing Resources.) Please post your initial response to this discussion prompt by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, changing the title of your post to include your name and your project's proposed topic. Then, respond to the initial posts of at least two other students by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday. Continue your conversations through the end of the course week
